Just a few more days until Mukilteo Yacht Club’s 22ndAnnual Opening Day of Boating. We would like to encourage everyone to decorate your boat to the theme: “Beach Party” Remember to dress to the theme too. If you could let us know in advance if you plan to go out on parade, it would be helpful for our planning.

1. The Port is allowing us all "free moorage" Friday and Saturday night (May 2nd and 3rd) at Guest Dock 5.
2. Parking will be a challenge due to construction.
3. Vessel Safety Checks will be available by Everett Sail and Power Squadron. A couple of examiners plan to arrive at Dock 5 around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning for anyone interested.

    

   Friday, May 2

    

   Boats arrive at Dock 5 - There will be help available to assist with docking.

   We will be monitoring Channel 09.

    

   • MYC has 11 boats ... DYC has 2 boats.
   • All the boats will be located at Dock 5.
   • We will tie boats up in the order they arrive.

      

     6:00 pm – Taco Bar (Party Barge)

      

   • Bring your best “Beach Party” cocktails.
   • Karaoke to follow.
   • Plates, napkins, and utensils will be provided.

      

     Saturday, May 3

      

     8:30 am - Eye Openers - “Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas

      

   • “Omelet’s” served (party barge)

11:00 am - Registration and Captain's Meeting (party barge) followed by the Blessing of the Fleet. The parade route will be outlined at the Captain's Meeting.

12:00 Noon - Boats depart Dock 5 (Weather Permitting) and head out to the breakwater, gathering to the north of the marina entrance. Our lead boat is still to be decided.
