Port Susan is a quick 1hr trip doing around 9 knots. We will anchor just on this side of Kayak Point. If you have not been there before, it has a great beach for combing with a cool hike up the stairs through the campground into a unique forested area.
The weather can be amazingly warm and still, or the exact opposite. It is a great place to get familiar with anchoring and testing out that newly cleaned BBQ. I have just fixed the registration page (it was glitched) so please register so we can look out for you as you come in. Dan the Anchor Man is there from Saturday to help anyone who may want him to jump aboard. (Gotta use his nimble body while it still works!) A *plus* is the grey whales are often seen in there!

BONUS: Bob Fletcher will onduct "Emergency distress signal" training. We will be launching flairs, smoke etc. Bring your expired flares.
It has been cleared with Sno-Co Sherriff & U.S. Coast Guard for Saturday @ 3:00 (depending on weather conditions)
